February 2012 - Axis - finalists in two categories of SPE Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards 2012

Axis Well Technology is delighted to have been shortlisted as finalists in two categories of these prestigious awards. Axis in one of three finalists in the Great Large Company Performance category whilst their Operations Manager Paul Handsley has been selected in the Young Professional category.The Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards have a 25-year history of celebrating outstanding success in the Oil & Gas industry and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Aberdeen Section re-launched the event for 2012. These prestigious awards were open to entries from UK registered companies including offshore renewables.The Great Large Company Performance Award recognises excellence in larger company performance in the offshore energy sector (oil and gas and all forms of renewables). The judges sought evidence of Axis's development to date including successful creation and growth of the company, strong product / service differentiation and clear strategic direction. Clear evidence of plans for the future success and growth of the company both within the UK and internationally were also provided.The Young Professional Award recognises the professional capability and the wider contribution made to the offshore industry by a young man or woman under the age of 35.The Award ceremony will take place at the Ardoe House Hotel on 15th March 2012.
