Axis is an independent consultancy providing specialist Exploration & Production, Decommissioning and Low Carbon expertise to the global energy industry. Our highly regarded multidisciplinary reservoir, wells and facilities team is recognised worldwide for delivering high quality, integrated support.

Established in 2001, our Well Operations division has evolved into a multi-faceted, integrated team delivering design, planning and well-site execution across all aspects of completions, well services, well test, production, well engineering, interventions and well integrity services globally. The Axis Well Operations team also brings extensive experience in HPHT, unconventionals, plug and abandon (P&A)/decommissioning and deepwater projects.

Axis strengthened its capabilities in 2011 with the expansion of our Studies division to provide end-to-end Subsurface consultancy support across all major disciplines.  Our existing Petroleum Engineering capability was further enhanced soon after to include specialist Flow Assurance, Geomechanics, and Production Chemistry teams. 

In 2021, building on more than a decade of experience supporting Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) projects, Axis launched a Low Carbon service line to meet the rapidly expanding market interest within this area of the industry.
