Feasibility Studies

There’s significant interest in developing UK CO2 stores by repurposing oil and gas infrastructure, whether depleted hydrocarbon fields or underlying aquifers.  We assess and understand the key technical issues (e.g. storage capacity, containment, injectivity etc.) and can provide expert advice that allows our clients to determine the suitability of single site and/or build-out storage targets.

Our integrated subsurface and wells skills and experience are highly transferable and Axis has provided industry leading support to the CCS industry since 2015.  Awarded the ETI Strategic UK CO2 Storage Appraisal Project (with Pale Blue Dot) to assess UKCS storage potential, and our specialist staff team has since delivered an impressive portfolio of CCS screening, feasibility, development and FEED projects.
