January 2013 - Axis finalist in SPE Offshore Achievement Awards 2013

Axis Well Technology is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Great Large Company category of these prestigious SPE awards, whose main sponsor is TAQA Bratani.The Great Large Company Award recognises excellence in overall company performance in the offshore energy sector. The judges sought evidence of Axis's development to date, including significant milestones and achievements in the last 5 years which Axis was especially proud of; these included the addition of a new Subsurface department, creation of a designated Well Integrity Department, procurement of a second office in the Aberdeen area, continued growth in sales, the expansion of international business and the award of IIP Bronze status in 2012.MD Jim Anderson said "To be shortlisted for this prestigious award is fantastic news and is a great accolade for the whole team here at Axis without whose skills and commitment, this tribute would not be possible".The Award ceremony will take place at the AECC on 21st March 2013 where comedian Kevin Bridges will return as host for the evening.
