June 2012 - Axis exhibit at DEVEX 2012

Axis took part in this year's annual DEVEX exhibition at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre where a record number of attendees came to see the latest developments in oil and gas production and development.Amongst the attractions at the Axis stand was a competition to guess the porosity of a bowl of Smarties. Five delegates guessed the correct answer of 38% with the lucky winner getting a month's supply of chocolate for themselves and their team.Interestingly it was the reservoir engineers rather than the geoscientists who guessed the closest answers with most answers overestimating the amount of chocolate.
